Location 1.

During the filming of the title sequence we used 4 locations to make the title sequence.

Location 1 - near hadleigh football club.
this location we filmed the thinking scene, where James is leaning on a fence thinking. This was a good location as there was good lighting.

Voice Over Script

My Dad always said to me "Opting to live your life by your own choice is the greatest freedom you will ever have" but for me, the couldn't be more wrong. I made choices in my life that have nearly lead to my death more than once and you say that's freedom?

No restraints on my life has plunged me head first into a living hell and there's nothing I can do about it. Irreversible decision made by a naive young, still plaguing the life of that same young mind, not wiser and filled with regret.

I wasn't always a football hooligan, I was very young, looking for a buzz and it gave me one. I got sucked into the abyss and failed to release the seriousness of what I was becoming involved with. Yeah I worked my way up, and even though I was naive, I got smart. I became the youngest firm boss in history and reveled in the power for a while. But the whole time, I find myself looking over my shoulder.

We carried out some research on various different techniques we could use and this website helped us out a lot with more advanced camera angles and movements for if we felt they would be appropriate.

Colour Correction Settings for Second Part of Title Sequence

Here are the colour correction settings we used for the waking up sequence that made up the second part of our title sequence. The colour correction barely changed the clips saturation or gamma however they did deepen and purify the colours enough to improve the quality of the overall production.

Voice Over Idea

Recently we have thought about recording a voice over to narrate what is happening on screen at the time just to make sure everything is clear to the audience, we think making the narration mainly about the choices the main character has made to end up in this situation. We have decided the voice used in this should be soft so it challenges the audiences expectations of a football hooligan and he should say about the influence his parents had on him growing up. We feel this would be effective because we don't really want to use the stereotypical football hooligan in our film, we feel if we mix it up a bit and challenge people's mindset about it the sequence would be far more effective. Much like Danny Dyer in 'Football Factory' or Morgan Freeman in 'The Shawshank Redemption'

Colour Correction Settings for Thinking scene

We decided to go for a washed out look with this part of the clip making it brighter. To gain this effect, we used a medium to low saturation and a medium gamma whilst using high alpha.
